John
Moore, PhD, President, CEO, and Board Member
John has more than 25 years experience at all levels of the analytical
instrumentation industry. Before joining Ion Signature Technology, he was President, Vice President,
and General Manager of several major analytical instrumentation businesses,
including Thermo Optek, Teledyne, and Varian Instruments. In addition to
having full P&L responsibilities for various instrument businesses,
John was also Worldwide and US Marketing Manager for Varian Instruments
spectroscopy products and a consultant to MKS Instruments. John received
his PhD in Chemistry from Huddersfield University, England. |

Albert
Robbat, Jr., PhD, Founder and Chairman
Al has more than 25 years experience developing analytical instrumentation
and software. A faculty member in the Department of Chemistry at Tufts University
in Massachusetts, Al was honored with an Environmental Technology Initiative
award by President Clinton in 1995 for developing the concept of dynamic
site investigations, and for creating what are now Ion Signature Technology's
deconvolution algorithms and field-based instrumentation. Ion Signature Technology's algorithms
are critical to the deployment of rapid screening and quantitative GC/MS
instruments in lab and field applications. Al frequently provides consulting
for analytical instrumentation companies, as well as for state and federal
agencies. He received his PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Pennsylvania
State University, Pennsylvania. |

Richard
(Dick) Burtt, Board Member
Dick is currently the CEO of NOMIR Medical Technologies, Inc. and has more than 30 years senior level experience in creating
and building defensible and profitable businesses in technology, life
sciences, and software. While at Value Added Strategies (VAS), he brought his
extensive knowledge of mergers and acquisitions, and operational, financial,
and strategic expertise to early stage and middle market firms. Prior
to creating VAS, Dick founded and launched five businesses that were subsequently
acquired. He also served as Vice President of International Business and
Corporate Development at Medtronic, the world leader in medical technology.
Dick holds a MS and BS from the University of Massachusetts, has five
years of IBM executive education, and has spent 23 years serving on boards
of directors. |

Ralph
S. Sheridan, MBA, Board Member
Ralph S. Sheridan has been the Chief Executive Officer and Secretary and a
Director of Good Harbor Partners Acquisition Corp. since August 2005. Mr.
Sheridan is a frequent spokesman on technology solutions to complex security
problems with particular emphasis on cargo crime and cross border trade,
detection of nuclear materials and cyber threats to process control systems.
Since June 2003, Mr. Sheridan has been the Managing Partner of Value
Management LLC, which provides technology start-up assistance, realignment
and business development advisory services. From 1993 to May 2003, Mr.
Sheridan was the President and Chief Executive Officer of American Science &
Engineering, Inc., a Nasdaq listed company that provides X-ray detection
equipment and contract technology development for the detection of
explosives, drugs, weapons and illegal immigrants, as well as manifest
verification for cargo. From 1990 to 1993, Mr. Sheridan served as the
President of Value Management Corp., a consulting and investment banking
firm founded by Mr. Sheridan which focused on turnarounds of technology
businesses. From 1987 to 1989, Mr. Sheridan was President and Chief
Executive Officer of HEC Energy Corp., an energy services company. Prior to
that, from 1981 to 1986, Mr. Sheridan held positions in business development
and international operation at Combustion Engineering, Inc., an engineering
services and systems company, including Vice President of Operations from
1984 to 1986 for the Engineered Systems and Controls Group that he built
from four acquisitions. From 1976 to 1981, Mr. Sheridan held positions in
business development and international operations at Continental Group, a
diversified packaging, financial services and gas pipeline company. From
1974 to 1976, Mr. Sheridan held positions at W.R. Grace, a specialty
chemicals and materials company. He currently serves on the Boards of Ion
Signature Technology, a private company focused on advanced data analysis
software for analytical instrumentation, Vela Systems, a private company
providing mobile information solutions to the AEC industry, and the Advisory
Board of Allegent Technology Group, a private company developing enterprise
security management software.

Kenneth N. Kermes, Board Member
Ken has more than 40 years experience
as a senior corporate executive responsible for finance, strategic planning,
and mergers and acquisitions at such companies as Monsanto, Ralston Purina,
Black and Decker and SmithKline Beecham (now Glaxo SmithKline). He has been
involved as an investor and as a senior advisor in a number of start-up,
early stage and turnaround companies, and has recently served as CEO of
Brown and Sharp Manufacturing Co. and as VP and CFO of The University of
Rhode Island. He is a member of The Cherrystone Group, a group of “angel
investors” who are participating in the financing of Ion.He has a
BA degree from Amherst College, was a pilot in the U. S. Navy and attended
the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. |

Steve
Herbert, Scientific Advisory Board Member
Active within the international biotechnology, high technology, and
venture communities, Steve runs The Torran Group, a services company offering
business development assistance to enterprises at the intersection of life
science, material science, and technology. He has been part of the founding
team for four technology ventures: Cambridge Interactive Systems, Molecular
Simulations, OmniViz, and Manifest Technology. Steve serves on a number
of advisory boards, including the Industrial Advisory Board for the Boston
University Masters Bioinformatics program, and was the business advisor
for the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory Proteomics Initiative team.
Steve also participates in Launchpad Ventures, an angel investor group in
Boston. Previously, he worked at Pharmacopeia, where he was the senior sales
and marketing executive responsible for computational chemistry startup,
Accelrys. Steve holds a BA honors in Biology from the University of York,
England, and a graduate certificate in Administration & Management from
Harvard University's extension school. |

Craig
M. Whitehouse, Scientific Advisory Board Member
The recipient of more than two dozen patents in the area of mass
spectrometry, Craig has published numerous articles in such leading journals
as Analytical Chemistry and Rapid Communications in Mass Spectrometry. Since
1988, Craig has served as President of Analytica of Brandford, Inc., a developer
of cutting edge tools for coupling liquid separation systems to mass spectrometry.
Previously, Craig held the position of Vice President at DRS Infusion Systems.
He has also served as Director of Research and Development at DRS Infusion
Systems, a Division of Imed Corp. Craig holds a BA in Biology from the University
of Rochester and has pursued advanced studies at Yale University in the
School of Graduate Studies, Department of Engineering. |
