Ion Signature and Torion Technologies Develop Method Program Software for the GUARDION-7^TM GC-TMS

NORTH SMITHFIELD, RI - February, 2008 - Ion Signature and Torion Technologies announce the development of a software utility that provides a seamless, user-friendly interface between the Torion GUARDION, GC-TMS, and the Ion Signature software. The new software utility enables the GUARDION-7 user to use the Ion Signature software to create methods and target analyte libraries. Methods and libraries can then be downloaded to the GC-TMS and used for automated compound identification during field operations. The process can also be reversed for automated conversion of the Ion Signature method database information stored on the PC so that it can be easily downloaded as readable text files to the GUARDION-7. The aim is to provide the user with seamless integration of the Torion GC-TMS instrument with Ion Signature technology’s GC/MS onboard and post-processing spectral deconvolution data analysis software.
