Features
The TITAN Family incorporates the latest
improvements in coil/cartridge heating, flexible cooling options,
and baffled liner technology. The TITAN SL and XL models are
upgradeable to the next higher level of performance. The TITAN
XL and 2-D versions have the added functionality of performing
S/SL and PTV injections.
Benefits
A new, innovative heater design allows the
TITAN Family to provide reproducible heating with exact temperature
setpoint control. The cartridge and coil design allows the TITAN XL
and 2-D to give optimal performance in either the S/SL or PTV modes
of operation. The product's proprietary heater design not only improves
the heating performance, but also enhances the rate of cooling.
The TITAN Family uses an 88mm liner that is longer than other conventional
glass inlet liners. The extended liner length provides ample internal
volume, while creating superior flow dynamics at the head of the column.
This produces less discrimination in your analysis.
The TITAN XL is a single injection system that allows you to operate
in either the S/SL or PTV modes without any hardware changes. The
single system solution (S3), of the TITAN XL provides you with exceptional
flexibility and true cost savings over other systems.
The TITAN XL: S/SL, PTV, and LVI
For increased sensitivity,
the TITAN large volume injectors have been packaged with Ion Signature quantitative deconvolution software software.
This allows the TITAN systems to utilize the power of Ion Signature to "see through" the matrix and identify the
fingerprint/signature of the compounds of interest.
